A Place Where The Youth Thrive.
A youth and family hub at 6 Arc Place, Staten Island, open all week, built by UMMA Foundation.
Between home and school, NEXGEN is the third space where Muslim youth build skills, find belonging, and grow into confident leaders.
Eight programs, designed from scratch.
Each program is built for what kids actually need at each stage, and to do what no one else in the community is doing for our youth.
Our Scout-Method-adapted character, outdoor, and service program, built around Islamic values. Five sections: Sprouts, Seekers, Builders, Pathfinders, NEXplorers. Real teamwork, real responsibility, real reflection.
The kids who grow up here come back to run it.
NEXGEN is built around a single structural idea: the 18-to-29-year-olds who graduate from Pathfinders + Friday Nights become the next layer of staff, instructors, and program leads. Paid roles. Real reps.
It’s why the org will get stronger every year, and why nobody outside this community can copy it.

Grow up here
A kid joins Bloom or Kids. Pathfinders, Studios, Saturday Sessions. Years of repetition build identity.
02
Lead the next stage
As Teens (14, 17), they start mentoring younger sections. Real responsibility. Real accountability.
03
Become a Steward
At 18, 29, they return as paid mentors, instructors, content leads, program directors. Trained inside the system they came up through.
04
Grow the institution
Stewards run the next cohort of kids. The flywheel turns. The community staffs itself with people who actually understand it.
Home. School. NEXGEN.
Every kid needs three spaces to grow up well. Home shapes values. School and masjid teach structure and knowledge. NEXGEN is the third, where youth choose to grow, lead, and own their identity.
Built for Muslim families. Welcoming to all.
Give your kid the third space they deserve.
