For community
Built through, not built for.
NEXGEN is not a small staff making programs for a community. It is a place a community runs its own programs through. A doctor mentors. A chef teaches. A filmmaker makes a show. A masjid co-hosts. We supply the operation around it.
Not competition
Strong communities don't ask one institution to do everything.
Different institutions have different jobs. The community is stronger when those jobs connect than when one tries to do everything.
Home
Where values are formed, and the only place that can do it.
Masajid
Worship, Quran, and the community that holds a family through a decade.
Schools
The academic day, and the standards a young person is measured against.
NEXGEN
The hours around all of it. Friendships, mentors, studios, and somewhere to be on a Friday.
NEXGEN does not replace a masjid, a school or a home. It is not trying to. It covers the part of the week none of them was built for.
Find your role
What do you want to bring?
Pick what you actually have rather than which of our teams you think you need. Every one of these goes somewhere specific, not into a general inbox.
- An organisation
Masjid, school or org
“We run something already, and there is overlap worth using.”
We bring: Co-hosted sessions. Referrals both ways. Access to programs we run and you do not. Neither of us repeats the other.
You'd be: Send us your calendar and we will schedule around it, not across it.
Smallest step · A twenty-minute call.
Start a conversation - A business
Business
“I have a company, and I could open a door for someone.”
We bring: The structure around it. A site visit for six teenagers. An afternoon of your team answering "what do you do all day". Or last year's camera, in the hands of someone learning.
You'd be: Host a visit, send a mentor, sponsor a workshop, or donate equipment.
Smallest step · One afternoon, one person from your team.
Tell us what you have - Your family
Join as a family
“Honestly, I just want my kids in this.”
We bring: A free household account, 9 programs, and 3 of them open with no payment and no sign-up.
You'd be: Turn up to a Friday, a Saturday or a Family Sunday and see.
Smallest step · One evening.
See what fits your child - What you know
Mentor
“I have experience worth passing on.”
We bring: The people, the room, the scheduling, and the safeguarding around it.
You'd be: Share what you know with someone who can use it.
Smallest step · One hour, once.
Share what you know - A program
Host a program
“I have something I teach, and I want somewhere to teach it.”
We bring: Space, audience, registration, payments, scheduling, check-in and promotion.
You'd be: Bring a structured program and let NEXGEN run the operation around it.
Smallest step · A paragraph about the idea.
Propose a program - A show or an idea
UMMA Studio
“I want to make a podcast or a video and I need the gear.”
We bring: A broadcast-ready room, cameras and lighting, and a hand with production.
You'd be: Record something worth publishing in a room built for it.
Smallest step · One session to see if it works.
Request studio time - Time and hands
Volunteer
“I don't have a program. I can just show up and help.”
We bring: A specific job, a specific time, and someone expecting you.
You'd be: Help NEXGEN actually run: setup, desk, food, media, logistics.
Smallest step · One shift.
Find a way to help - Financial support
Donate
“I want my money to do something specific here.”
We bring: A named use, a receipt, and a report on where it went.
You'd be: Fund the access and the infrastructure that fees cannot carry.
Smallest step · $25, once.

What we supply
You bring the thing. We run everything around it.
When someone with a good program does not run it, the idea is rarely the problem. It is the room, the scheduling, the payments, the no-shows and the paperwork.
- A room, and the safeguarding around it, an organisation brings its own certificate of insurance
- Registration, payments and check-in
- Scheduling that does not collide with the rest of the week
- An audience already coming through the door
- Background checks run to the state child-care standard
- Promotion, and a page your program actually lives on

what we are building toward by 2030
30 cities
A goal, not a count. Today there is one NEXGEN. The way there is a model other cities can copy. So we build it with people, not for them.
A program of UMMA Foundation.
Tell us what you have.
A masjid. A school. A business. An hour a month. Or a program you have run for years. The first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
